Repair is central to the Music4Life™ mission of putting instruments into the hands of students in need, and our vendors are at the heart of ensuring our donated instruments are in tip-top shape for each and every one of them. Music4Life interviews each vendor and works with only the very best music stores to get this work done. Each of these preferred vendors provides discounts to Music4Life on repairs and the purchase of new instruments, when that’s possible, because they share our values and understand the long-term educational importance of getting ready-to-play musical instruments into the hands of more students. We are grateful to our Preferred Vendors for everything they do for us! Music4Life™ doesn’t have “members” (a legal distinction we don’t need to go into here), but we do have many “friends” who actively support us. They include the thousands of donors of used musical instruments, financial donors, people on our Boards and on our various school district-based chapters, friends in local Rotary, Lions and Kiwanis Clubs and many other local community leaders who also value kids and instrumental music and education.
